Introduction to Cold Processed Soapmaking
Cold Processed Soapmaking with Goat’s Milk, Herbs, and Botanicals

9:00 – 5:00 (approximately)
80.00 – Includes all equipment and materials – Bring home 16 bars of soap that YOU make! There is a small sale tax charge for materials. Select the “no shipping” option at check out. That’s 5.00 per bar!! Also, you receive information about how to make your own at home.
Aged 18 or older

The Art of Cold Processed Soapmaking 101: Introduction to Cold Processed Soapmaking: a hands-on class where you will learn about the history of Colonial soapmaking, how to make cold processed soap with premium oils, and how to label your soaps. In this session, you will make 8 bars of soap. Notebook and handouts included.

The Art of Cold Processed Soapmaking 201: Instruction for techniques to make cold processed goat’s milk soap with herbs and botanicals. In this session, you will make 8 bars of soap. Notebooks and handouts included.

Wear old clothes, bring a long-sleeved shirt, long pants, closed-toe shoes and tie your hair back.

Bring a brown bag lunch and drink.
To bring home soaps, bring a 14 x 14 x 14 or larger cardboard box with a lid and old 4 bath sized towels.

We provide all of the equipment and supplies for the workshop including goggles and gloves. If you prefer your own goggles and gloves, bring them. Students must be age 18 or older.

* If you wish to make an additional loaf of soap or two (8 bars in each loaf), please email Lori when you register. Each additional loaf of soap is 40.00 (5.00 per bar).  

**If you have been a former student who has taken both of these sessions and wish to come in on this day and join us for session two, email Lori for special pricing for your soapmaking studio.

*** If you are a former student who has taken soapmaking 101 or 102 and would like to join the second session, contact Lori to ask about registration for the second session.

Cancellation Policy – All workshops require payment upon registration. Materials for workshops are prepared a week in advance. For cancellation, email or call up to 7 days before the event for a refund or to apply registration fees towards a future workshop.
